Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress who is most well-known for her role as Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" she has been gaining some fame. An California born, Calvano was initially interested in gymnastics competition. She later chose to become an actress. Her debut on screen was the 2010 episode of CBS's 'NCIS. One year later her first major-screen debut was in the biographical crime movie J Edgar. Over the years she's established herself as one of the most promising actors in the industry. The performance she gave on 'NCIS which was nominated for the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance in a Television Series that features an Guest Actress between 11-15 years old. Her role as a special guest on the comedy series 'Kickin' It' was nominated again for the Young Artist Award. Calvano was an integral part of the cast of the show's initial three seasons, and also appeared in several episodes of the fourth season. She won the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star due to her role in Mom.
